Speed skating is happening in rinks across the country — but finding it has always been harder than it should be. We're changing that.
Inline speed skating has passionate communities in dozens of states, with leagues running competitive seasons, developing young athletes, and welcoming skaters of every age and skill level. But those communities have always been scattered — each league running its own website, its own registration process, its own way of doing things. For a newcomer trying to find the sport, it's a maze.
SpeedSkateLeague.com exists to fix that. We're building a single national hub where every league in the country can have a home, every skater can find their nearest rink, and the sport can grow the way it deserves to.
An interactive map showing every active league in the country. Click your state, find your league, get started.
Every league's meet schedule in one place — dates, locations, and registration links all in one spot.
Create a profile, track your race history, and carry your results with you across every meet and every season.
Live standings updated after every meet, so skaters and families can follow the season as it unfolds.
Streamlined meet registration that works for skaters of all ages — no complicated forms or outdated systems.
SSL is backed by SpeedSkateMeet.com — a full race day engine handling blocks, judging, and live results at meets.
"Speed skating shouldn't be a sport you stumble into by accident. We want anyone, anywhere in the country, to be able to find it in five minutes."
The Mid South Speed League — covering Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma — is the first league on the platform. With 7 meets per season starting October 4, 2026 at Roller City in Wichita, KS, MSSL is the proving ground for everything SSL is building.
If you're in the region and curious about speed skating, MSSL is one of the most welcoming leagues in the country. Skaters of all ages and experience levels compete together, and coaches are always happy to help newcomers figure out the basics. You don't need your own skates to show up to your first meet.
We're actively onboarding leagues across the country. Get in touch and we'll get you set up.
